Sunman eArc is a light weight and ultra-thin solar panel made with a fibreglass reinforced composite material similar to aircraft windows, and 75% lighter than conventional solar panels, making it far less costly to transport and install. Sunman eArc light weight solar panels are ideal for caravans, motorhomes, RV’s, Buses, 4WDs, boats, yachts and even trains. Yes trains, in fact the Sunman eArc panels are used on the world’s first solar powered train in our own Byron Bay, NSW.

eArc solar panels are also the first light weight solar panel approved for off grid use by the Clean Energy Council of Australia, meeting the same durability tests that conventional glass solar panels must (IEC61215:2016) as inuse on many home and commercial applications in Australia including the Sydney Maritime Museum Heritage Building.

• Half-Cut Shade Resistant - New Half cut design using the latest M6 monocrystalline passivated emitter rear contact (PERC) cells reduces internal resistance and creates two independent strings within the panel. Effectively reducing the effect of shading when on one side. PERC cells improve the year round performance compared to conventional cells as some of the light that hits the back of the cell is reflected back and converted to current.
• Ultra-light - Sunman eArc weighs around 75% less than conventional PV panels. Panels measure just 2mm with a 100watt panel weighing just 2.1kgs.
• Flexible - Sunman eArc combines a unique, patented material to produce a superior flexible crystalline-silicon/panel which can be installed on curved surfaces.

• Vented Gap Kit: Improves panel efficiency and reduces surface heating. Includes high bond double-sided adhesive tape and polycarbonate strips. (Height increase of approximately 15mm)
• High Bond Double-Sided Adhesive Tape: Provides a low-profile, secure bond for smooth surfaces. (2.3mmH x 12mmW x 16.5mL)
• Bi-Adhesive Backing: We can fit a continuous sheet of 1mm bi-adhesive material on the back of the panel for easy peel-and-stick installation on smooth surfaces.
• Structural Silicone (Fix8): Can be used to adhere the panel to a surface.
• Eyelets: We can press eyelets into the panel so it can be secured using bolts or screws.

• Sunman recommends the use of Sikasil SG-20 or Fixtech Fix8 construction adhesive product to secure the eArc Panels. If using a Silicon based adhesive such as SG20 or Fix8, apply the product in strips running the width of the panel underneath each cell gap. Do not seal around the edge of the panel as this will trap air under the panel which will expand as the panel heats up, causing damage to both the panel & mounting surface
